Extremly inportant Basic information!!!!!!!!!!!

To limit the download size of the aircraft I have included only the changed texture files for this aircraft and not the comlete set. You must have the original aircraft files from Roger Dial for the "Glamorous Glenn III" which is availible from Flight Sim's site.

Installation

You should first make a copy of your original "Glamorous Glenn III" files in case you do not want to use this aircraft, but the original instead. What would be easiest is to copy the folder that contains all of the original files and paste it back into the aircraft folder. To do this follow these proceedures:

1) Open the windows Explorer.
2) Go to the folder where your FS2000 folder is located.
As this differs with every installation depending on where
you installed the program. You will need to find this out
yourself.
3) Under the FS2000 folder go to the folder "Aircraft".
4) Find the folder that had the original files. This may be
labeled as "Glamorous Glenn III" or whatever you named it.
5) Right click on the folder and choose "copy".
6) Now right click on the folder "Aircraft" and choose "Paste".
7) You will now see a copy of the folder. This may be something
like "copy of Glamorous Glenn III" or some such, depending
on what the original was called
8) Right click on the new folder and choose "Rename" and give
the folder the name "P-51D Mustang (USAAF - Lt Ben Drew)"
9) To install these files, simply copy what is included with this
zip to the new folder and overwrite the originals that were in
this there.
10) The last step is to unzip the textures.zip file located in the
textures folder and when asked to replace the files, choose "Yes".

Your new folder structure should look like this:

Aircraft
\ P-51D Mustang (USAAF - Lt Ben Drew)
\ History
\ Model
\ Panel
\ Photos
\ Sound
\ Texture

If you have any problems you can contact me at jpdemmerle@bluewin.ch and I will forward you more information.

As it was only the textures that were changed, the dynamics of this aircraft will be the same as the original. You will also see the two new folders "History" nad "Photos". The history folder has a text file with the history of Lt. Braly and his aircraft. The "Photos" folder has simply a snapshot of the aircraft and you can add to this if you want.

Well that should be about it. If you have a specific livery of a Mustang you want to have done, you can send me a photo and I will do my best to do one for you.

Cheers

J-P Demmerle
